The Scientific Program of Presentations is being developed. Please, expect to receive a communication requesting proposals for presentation to the group. The presentations will be distributed throughout the trip and will occur each day around 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

Arrive in Sun Valley, Idaho. This world-class resort village is located at the southern edge of the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states, and the opportunities for outdoor recreation are numerous. Unlimited activities, perhaps the greatest luxury of all - choice.

EXPLORE THE MIDDLE FORK - August 28 – September 1, 2010
Following breakfast we'll depart for the river put-in at approximately 8 a.m, flying via backcountry aircraft. Along the way you will skirt awesome snowcapped peaks of the Sawtooth Mountain Range and catch glimpse of bighorn sheep, elk and deer. Only to be stunned by the remoteness and beauty of the canyon as you land at the Lodge, riverside on the legendary Middle Fork.
Far & Away Adventure guides and boats will be waiting for your family riverside. After a brief orientation and safety talk, we will launch for an adventure on the Middle Fork. Our goal is to provide you with wonderful memories for years to come.

The Middle Fork is a paradise lost for river adventures’ seeking the excitement of white water rafting. Challenge rapids in an inflatable kayak, with a paddle boat team, or a exciting day of blue ribbon native cutthroat trout fishing. - Our guides will provide unlimited instruction.
Hiking opportunities abound along the river. The trail system is well maintained. Many people will choose to hike during the morning, day or evening. Your guides are familiar with this river corridor and will be happy to provide you with excellent trail and side canyon hike suggestions. Paddling is great, but there's a whole new world waiting for those who walk. Old homesteads, undisturbed wildlife, and the solitude of being in the largest wilderness in the lower 48 await you.
